Bole Woods at Holden Arboretum
Bole Woods is a National Natural Landmark and a highly mature beech-red maple forest in beautiful condition. A trail of 1.2 miles runs through the oldest areas. There is a significant amount of fallen woody debris, magnificent height red maples, as well as chestnut oaks, American beech and western red cedar.
