These Forests Joined the Old-Growth Forest Network in 2025
Written By Old-Growth Forest Network
In 2025, 42 new Network Forests and 11 new Community Forests joined the Old-Growth Forest Network.
Each one represents years of growth, patient stewardship, and a shared commitment to protecting what cannot be replaced.
We invite you to take a moment to explore the beauty and diversity of these forests in the images and links below. Click each photo to visit the forest detail page for more information so you can plan your next visit.
As we look ahead to 2026, we hope you’ll consider making a year-end gift to help bring more worthy forests into the Network and ensure they are recognized, celebrated, and protected for generations to come.
